...enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.
ACTS 4:29
God introduced us to each other in 2016. Our different stages of life, ages, and backgrounds, made for an interesting crew. We did have a few things in common. We all loved the Lord. We all wanted a deeper walk with Him. We were all broken for different reasons, and we all needed healing. A bond was quickly formed. An accountability atmosphere was born, a prayer commitment developed, and we started sensing God had plans beyond a bible study. We started having annual retreats of sort - which consists of weekends where we spend 3 days immersed in the Word and prayer. Each year we share our spiritual struggles and successes and we hold each other accountable in our confessions.
In August of 2020 - as the world was trying to land on solid ground because of this thing called Covid-19, our church Elders called for a day of prayer and fasting. We all participated and decided to pray together via zoom. As we prayed and shared, Tobie said the word "fearless" had come to her all throughout the day. That word stuck to us like glue! A week later Angie, Robin, and Tobie shared how impactful the word "fearless" had been. They lifted it in prayer. Seeds for a "journey" on the fear of the Lord and discipleship started to grow. The story was shared with the others and we all committed it to prayer.
Long story short, Fearless-Ministries was born. Our mission is to bring women together to learn how to live fearlessly in the Lord, be a light in the darkness, and live lives of discipleship until He calls us home or comes back again.
As He sanctifies us and prepares to send us out, may we relate to and be refined by the Truth - Jesus is the Truth. May our own ambitions be challenged. May our own lack of faith be chastised. May Satan's influence be refuted, and may our own pride be denounced. As He prepares us, may all obstacles be removed so that as we go, we go in such power (His resurrected Holy Spirit Power) that the world will never be the same again.
